Facebook Status

Why do people find it necessary to say how much they love their boyfriend/girlfriend in their facebook status? We all know that you think you have the greatest relationship ever known to mankind but if they don't know that you love them without the constant reminder via the facebook then how great can your relationship be? And if your point is to try to tell the world and not your significant other than wouldn't you rather have a relationship that others can see how great it is and not have to tell them than to announce it all the time? And honestly no one cares that much. I know this seems a little harsh but it is the truth and someone needs to say it. Your relationship should be between you and the other person and God not the rest of the world.

Now I would like to clarify, if you get engaged or married then yes I feel that you are entitled to announce your love to the world using your facebook status, but not everyday. What I am talking about is sending personal messages to someone but everyone else is reading them. That would be what the message feature is for, or your phone, or e-mail, or face-to-face, not your public status.

So please, next time tell me what type of mood you are in, or what you are doing that day, or something more general and keep your love life to your self.
